Flowcheck perform pumping station optimisation surveys that encompass the complete pumping system, comprising of the wet well controls, the pumps, the pipe system and the rising main.
Our surveys are very ‘hands on’ and include taking measurements of flow, pressure, power and level, in conjunction with the physical layout of the pumping system, to determine exactly how it is functioning.
By looking at each component within a pumping system we can often identify areas where large energy and cost savings can be made.
Pumping station optimisation enables pumps to deliver the maximum volume of liquid using the minimum amount of energy. The optimisation procedure also results in pumps operating more reliably and in turn requiring less maintenance and fewer call outs to pumping stations.
Using the features now available in modern pump control devices, combined with our knowledge in pump hydraulics, we can develop the optimum solutions to make pumping systems more efficient.
